Iron Frying Pan Dish

Iron Frying Pan Dish

This iron frying pan is made by Kondo Seisakusho, a 150-year-old blacksmith forge in Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture (the village blacksmith's logo is engraved on the underside of the frying pan). The 2,3 mm thick iron has high heat storage capacity and doesn't drop in temperature after the food is placed in it, so the meat is cooked to a crisp with the flavor locked in. The high strength of the pan allows it to be used over bonfires and charcoal without any problems. By using the special handle (sold separately), it can be used like a standard frying pan. The handle can be removed for compact storage. It can be used not only over a campfire, charcoal or gas flame, but also on induction, so it can be used for daily cooking. Since there is no handle, freshly prepared food can be served directly to the table using a trivet.

Note - The dishes is sold without the handle. Compatible with Iron Handle
