Designed by Takeshi Nii in 1970, the Nychair draws from vintage director’s chairs and Danish fabric chairs. It carries the Ni family name as well as the Danish word for new – Ny. The X version captures the traditional form and portability of a director’s chair with its curving frame and fabric seat, providing a comfortable hammock-like feel.
